The Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway, over 83 km long, is expected to open to traffic on April 19.
The Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway has been approved by the State Inspection Council for construction acceptance work as the acceptance result of more than 70 km of construction items on the route from Van Gia intersection at Km 298+000 to QL27C intersection at the end of the route.The scope of the project items put into operation on April 19 includes 28 bridges of all kinds; residential access roads, level crossings; 3 intersections such as Van Gia, QL26 intersection, QL27C intersection; rest stops; Smart transport system (ITS); toll stations and vehicle weight control works...The Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway is one of 12 expressways component of the North-South Expressway Project in the East phase II 2021 - 2025. Up to now, the expressway is ready for the opening day.According to the investor's representative, the expressway project completed 8 months ahead of schedule, ensuring safety and compliance with legal regulations.The rest stop was built at KM334+900 of the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway, passing through Ninh Binh and Ninh Hoa communes, with an investment capital of more than 230 billion VND.
The North - South Expressway project, Van Phong - Nha Trang section, has a total length of more than 83km. The starting point is at Km 285+000 , connecting the southern gateway of Co Ma tunnel (in Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province). The end point is at Km 368+350, connecting the starting point of the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway section (in Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province).
The total investment is nearly 12,000 billion VND, with the Project Management Board7 (Ministry of Construction) as the investor.
