    Nam Dinh - The project to build the southern axis road of Nam Dinh city has a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND, and has completed 70% of the volume.

    The project to build the southern axis road of Nam Dinh city (section from Vu Huu Loi street to National Highway 21B) has a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND.
    Toan tuyen co chieu dai 6,57km di qua dia phan xa Nam Van (TP Nam Dinh) va cac xa Nam Toan, Hong Quang, Nam Cuong (huyen Nam Truc).
    The entire route is 6.57km long, passing through Nam Van commune (Nam Dinh city) and Nam Toan, Hong Quang, and Nam Cuong communes (Nam Truc district).

    The road section adjacent to Chau Thanh River overpass (Hong Quang commune) is being paved with asphalt. This is also the connection point with the investment project to build the new Nam Dinh - Lac Quan - coastal road.

    Workers are constructing a tunnel across the road. Mr. Phan Thanh Hai - Director of the Southern Axis Road Project of Nam Dinh City said: "Up to now, the project has reached about 70% of the volume. To ensure progress, there are nearly 150 workers and 50 mechanical equipment operating at the construction site, divided into 4 construction teams".

    According to the Department of Transport of Nam Dinh province, the project to build the southern axis road of Nam Dinh city, when put into operation, will form a new traffic axis, connecting the center of Nam Dinh city with the southern districts of the province along the new road Nam Dinh - Lac Quan - coastal road. In addition, it will create a driving force to promote the development of the urban area south of Dao river, reduce the load and regulate traffic flow from the southern districts of the province via National Highway 21A, Provincial Road 490C. Gradually complete the planning of the provincial and Nam Dinh city traffic network, meet the increasing traffic demand and contribute to the socio-economic development of the province.
