    HCMC - On the morning of December 22, Ben Thanh station - the largest on Metro line 1, was overloaded as thousands of people lined up to experience the train ride.

    Phan Cong Bang, Head of the HCMC Urban Railway Management Board, said the metro will run free of charge for 30 days, with 200 trips per day, every 5-10 minutes. He recommended that people choose a reasonable time to avoid congestion, and not gather too many people in the first days.
