    Vi Khe bonsai village (Dien Xa commune, now Nam Dien commune, Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province) is about 8km from Nam Dinh city, a traditional bonsai craft village that has existed for more than 800 years.

    "In my village now, most households grow flowers and ornamental plants. To create a tree with the desired shape, it takes us many years to create a tree with the desired shape. Right from the moment I had the tree embryo, I had an idea in my head and gradually shaped the tree," said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Van (50 years old), who has been involved in the tree making profession since childhood.
