Having been involved in the apricot growing profession for more than 20 years, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dung (50 years old, residing in Nhon An commune, An Nhon town) shared that this year, due to prolonged cold rain, the apricot crop has not been as expected. However, the price of apricot has improved compared to last year, although purchasing power remains at an average level. "The long-shaped apricot that I sell to the market every year has a price ranging from 700,000 - 800,000 VND/pot, most of the green-bud apricot pots this year have been chosen by many customers in the North," said Mr. Dung.
