    Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh’s family (Lai Xa 2 village, Thanh Tan commune, Thanh Ha district) is a household with a lot of experience in growing kumquat trees for Tet. With many years of experience in the profession, Mr. Thanh has proactively protected his kumquat garden from storm No. 3.

The remaining trees were also severely affected by strong winds, causing the fruits to be small, scratched, and lose their natural beauty. Many newly planted and restored trees did not ripen in time for Tet.

    “My family’s kumquat output this year has decreased by 40% compared to last year. At the same time, with the current substandard quality of the trees, I am worried that selling kumquat trees during Tet will be difficult,” Mr. Ba shared.
