    Nam Dinh - Giap Ba Temple (Nam Giang town, Nam Truc district) is a national historical and cultural relic with a peaceful and ancient beauty.

    Giap Ba Temple (Nam Giang town, Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province) is a place to worship King Trieu Viet Vuong - who contributed to the country's fight against the Liang invaders.

    The temple faces south, including 4 main buildings and 2 disarming buildings, built in the style of internal and external architecture, on high ground, with a vestibule system and a lake in front. To the east of the main temple, there is also a temple to worship two elders, Doan Quan Cong and Doan Tuong Cong. The entire complex of relics includes 10 buildings with 40 large and small rooms.

    The front hall has 5 curved roof compartments, which were extensively renovated in the second year of Dong Khanh's reign (1887); the system of curved roofs and eaves still retains the style of the Later Le Dynasty.

    Giap Ba Temple still preserves many valuable objects of worship. Among them is the bronze statue of Trieu Viet Vuong cast in the year of Giap Tuat under the reign of King Tu Duc (1874). The statue is cast together with a rectangular pedestal, placed on a high stone pedestal.     The ancient stone stele is kept in the Giap Ba temple grounds, recording the life and career of General Doan. Mr. Tran Van Xuan - the keeper of Giap Ba temple - said that during the resistance war against the French, this place contributed to the whole country's fight against the enemy and protect the village. With its cultural and historical values, Giap Ba temple was ranked as a national historical and cultural relic in 1994.
