The People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province has approved the general planning task of Kim Binh new urban area with a planning study scale including the entire area of 4153 hectares of Kim Binh commune, Chiem Hoa district.
In particular, the scale of the urban construction land plan at the central location of Kim Binh commune with an area of about 270 hectares.
The planning area is a new urban area of type V. At the same time, it is an urban area for developing tourism services, agricultural and forestry processing industries, high-tech organic agriculture and forestry economic development.
The population of the entire new urban area of Kim Binh is forecasted to be about 7,600 people by 2030, and about 15,200 people by 2045.
The whole province of Tuyen Quang currently has 7 urban areas, of which 1 is a type II urban area, Tuyen Quang city, 4 urban areas have been formed for a long time including: Son Duong town, Na Hang town, Tan Yen town, Vinh Loc town. 2 newly built type V urban areas include Yen Son town and Lang Can town.
