On May 13, information from the Provincial Land Fund Development Center said that it had approved the resettlement of 139 households subject to relocation and handover of land to implement the Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park renovation project in An Binh ward, Bien Hoa city.
Of which, 67 cases have approved resettlement, drawn lots and received resettlement land in the field, signed land handover minutes but are still in use; 72 cases have approved resettlement, and have not yet relocated land handover in the field.
In addition, there are 116 cases that are not subject to resettlement arrangement, households and individuals have not received compensation, support as well as relocation and handover of land.
The Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park renovation project in An Binh ward, Bien Hoa city has 255 cases where the compensation and support plan has been approved.
Previously, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued Decision No. 324/QD-UBND dated February 5, 2024 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee approving the project to convert Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1 into Urban - Trade - Service Area and improve the environment.
Also according to information from the Provincial Land Fund Development Center on the progress of compensation, support, and resettlement to convert the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park (Bien Hoa City), up to now, the Provincial People's Committee has reclaimed and assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to manage 12.02 hectares.
The provincial Land Fund Development Center is coordinating with the specialized departments of Bien Hoa City People's Committee and An Binh Ward People's Committee to count land and assets attached to the land of priority companies to complete the auction land clearance of 8.94 ha (in the 75 ha area) and the construction area of the state agency (in the administrative area of the province of 105 hectares) in July July and the remaining area in 2025.
The entire area of the Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park has a total area of about 320.5 hectares, with 76 enterprises and 255 households.
Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park is the oldest industrial park in Vietnam, established in 1963 under the name Bien Hoa Industrial Park. After 1975, Bien Hoa Industrial Park changed its name to Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1.
