A coastal mangrove forest area of Phan Thiet (Lam Dong province) was planned as a Hung Vuong park project and was approved by the People's Council of the old Binh Thuan province in 2019.
The project aims to form ecological space, landscape combined with entertainment. In particular, the project aims to preserve the mangrove ecosystem and create a tourism highlight for coastal urban areas.
On December 1, the Management Board of Investment and Construction Project No. 2, Lam Dong province, said that up to now, the unit has coordinated with the Branch of the No. 1 Land Fund Development Center to sign the confirmation of the boundaries and boundary markers of adjacent land plots between households.
Work with the People's Committee of Phu Thuy Ward to determine the preliminary location and type of land for each household and organization. This is the basis for the competent authority to set specific land prices and serve land recovery.
The dossier for inspection and acceptance of cadastral maps has been sent to the Department of Agriculture and Environment to serve the work of reclaiming and allocating land for the project. Thereby, it will be the basis for the Ward People's Committee to determine specific land prices.

However, the implementation progress is still slow because the Branch of the Land Fund Development Center No. 1 has not yet fully separated the list of households that have, are and have not yet decided to recover or have not received compensation. Therefore, compensation, support and resettlement work cannot be implemented.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh requested relevant units to speed up to the maximum to soon complete the project implementation. He requested the Branch of the No. 1 Land Fund Development Center and the People's Committee of Phu Thuy Ward to closely coordinate with the Management Board of Construction Investment Projects No. 2, speeding up the progress of work related to compensation, support, and resettlement.
"The project must complete all preparations to start construction in February 2026. This is one of the key projects of the province to celebrate the founding day of the Communist Party of Vietnam" - Mr. Minh emphasized.

According to the approval, the Hung Vuong Park project has a total investment of 500 billion VND, with a implementation period of 4 years.
When the project comes into reality, this park will not only be a place for entertainment but also a "longitude" to help balance the environment, a place to preserve rare rare rare birds left.
