The book by the National Political Publishing House Truth selects more than 70 articles, speeches, and letters by comrade Nguyen Minh Triet (former Politburo member, former President) from 2000 to 2010. The book aims to contribute to summarizing the laws and practices in the process of building and defending the Fatherland, innovation and socialism.
The book consists of three parts:
Part 1: Set an example, following in the footsteps of outstanding leaders of the Party and State.
Part 2: Strengthening the construction and the political system to be increasingly clean and strong.
Part 3: Comprehensively promoting innovation; consolidating and expanding friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and countries in the region and the world.
Notably, the third part of the book consists of 2 parts: Promoting the entire area of the country's labor cooperation in national renewal and consolidating and expanding the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and other countries.
The section on Promoting the National Innovation Union includes many articles such as: Striving to serve the Fatherland, serving the people, determined to build our country to be increasingly rich, the people to be increasingly prosperous and happy.
The section on Strengthening and expanding friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and other countries includes many articles such as: Continuing to inherit and develop exemplary, loyal and clean relations between Vietnam and Laos; Strengthening dialogue and cooperation to bring common prosperity to APEC member economies;
Strengthening and developing the Vietnam-China friendship and comprehensive cooperation relationship; Vietnam will do its utmost to bring the spirit and content of the ASEAN Charter into life, for the benefit of each member country and the whole ASEAN;
Vietnam is determined to achieve new achievements in its efforts to achieve the Millennium Development Goals; Vietnam actively participates in the international economy, making worthy contributions to peace and development in the region and the world.
On the occasion of the book launch, on the morning of March 12, 2025, in Binh Duong province, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam - Director, Editor-in-Chief of the Truth National Political Publishing House, and the leaders of this agency came to present the book "Promoting the work of building and developing the country" to former Politburo member and former President Nguyen Minh Triet.
