Riding a "merch", picking flowers, drawing a sword and the ending could be a sentence

On January 13, Nguyen Thanh Binh - the man who drew a sword and threatened to slash workers in Nha Trang - was prosecuted and temporarily detained to investigate his behavior of disturbing public order.

Previously, on January 11, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh (born in 1972, residing in Tan Tien Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa) drove a Mercedes and stopped in front of the Tram Huong Tower area, then went into the flower decoration area to pick flowers to give to the girl who was with him. Being reminded by the workers here, the man pulled out a sword and threatened to slash him, the woman who was with him had to stop him and take back the sword.

After the clip recording the image of Mr. Binh violently drawing a sword and threatening to attack a worker was posted online, the community was very upset, saying that it was an act of contempt for the law.

Under pressure from public opinion, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh went to Nha Trang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company to apologize to the female environmental worker. However, because the female worker was on leave, the two sides could not meet.

Apologizing is good, but breaking the law is another matter. Public disorder cannot be solved with an apology.

Recently, many thugs have been assaulting others on the streets. When information and evidence were available, local police have prosecuted and temporarily detained many violators. The latest incident occurred on January 12 in Binh Duong, three people who beat a service car driver and threatened "do you know who I am?" were temporarily detained by Thuan An City Police to investigate and clarify their violations.

Those who boasted their names, claiming to be "big shots" or influential in the locality were sent to detention camps. They arrogantly asked others "do you know who I am?" and had the opportunity to know "who they are" when facing the law.

Returning to the case of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh pulling out a sword and threatening to slash workers in Nha Trang, even if he regrets it is too late. Mr. Binh has violated the law and must be dealt with by the law and may face criminal charges.

A civilized society first of all is that people must respect the law, behave politely and civilly towards each other. On the street, if there are too many people with hooligan blood, just a small conflict leads to fighting, using weapons to attack others, it is very unsafe.

Therefore, people are very sympathetic when authorities severely punish "street thugs".
