Just over a month after the inauguration day (September 19), the T3 terminal had two water leak incidents.
The last water leak incident at the waiting area for the departure gate. The representative of the Project Management Board said that this was just a small incident and not due to poor construction quality. remedial measures have been thoroughly implemented and will not be repeated in the coming time.
But unfortunately, it has happened again, what does the Project Management Board say about this?
Not only leaking, Tan Son Nhat T3 terminal after being put into operation has revealed many peeling and patched brick floors, causing concerns about quality.
Lao Dong reporter noted that the lobby area outside and inside the T3 terminal area has many sections of tiles with patches, cracks, chapped or discolored. Some areas have not been completely dredged or patched in a lack of synchronization, revealing long gaps.
The representative of the contractor consortium's management board explained that due to the urgent progress to put Terminal T3 into operation on schedule, some auxiliary items, including stone foundations in the waiting hall area, are forced to continue implementation after the terminal comes into operation.
Taking a hurry to put it into operation as planned does not mean being reckless. Construction is guaranteed, without incidents, without mess at the construction site, then it is called as planned.
Our ancestors are right: Acceleration is not achieved.
After receiving information from the press about the existence of Terminal T3, on May 23, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam requested the Vietnam Airports Corporation and Tan Son Nhat Port to review all issues arising in the process of exploiting and using the Terminal T3 project; urgently deploy solutions to handle and overcome the quality of passenger terminal exploitation services and ground commercial service services at Terminal T3 to ensure safety and convenience for passengers.
The contractor consortium committed: "In the next 10 days, we will complete the main stages such as pumping and glue through expansion joints, grinding and polishing the foundation. The entire stone foundation will be completed before June 30".
Regarding leakage, after the first time, there was a commitment not to repeat it, but it still continued to leak.
For the items lying around inside the station, will the contractor fulfill its commitment to complete before June 30?
Completed but must ensure quality, while the scandal and ugliness are not worthy of a station with a total investment of more than 11,000 billion VND.
