On April 23, 2025, the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) received Official Letter No. 1095/VPCQCSDT-P3 from the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency on coordinating the handling of violations of the law in the food sector, in which 12 food and nutritional products (powder milk) were identified as counterfeit goods, violating the provisions of Decree 98/2020/ND-CP of the Government.
Right on the day, the Department of Food Safety has sent a dispatch to the Department of Health, the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City, the Food Safety Management Board of Da Nang City and the Food Safety and Hygiene Sub -Departments across the country for urgent requirements: Reviewing, checking and recovering all 12 fake milk powder products that are circulating in the market. At the same time, coordinate with the police to handle the law.
People are advised not to use 72 other milk products of Rance Pharma International Pharma Joint Stock Company and Hacofood Nutrition Pharma Joint Stock Company, which are in the investigation process, until there is an official conclusion from the authorities.
Strictly implement instructions on strengthening inspection, examination and handling of food safety violations.
