Turmeric tea
To make turmeric tea, simply boil water and add a teaspoon of turmeric powder. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, then strain and enjoy. You can add honey or lemon to enhance the flavor.
Turmeric milk
Heat milk with a pinch of turmeric, a little black pepper and ginger for 5 to 10 minutes, then add honey or coconut oil to taste. Enjoy warm.
Turmeric in food
Add a little turmeric to soups, stews or curries during your period to relieve menstrual cramps.
Turmeric Smoothie
To make a turmeric smoothie, blend together the fruit, spinach, almond milk, a teaspoon of turmeric powder, and a pinch of black pepper. Add honey or coconut oil to taste.
Warm turmeric water
To make turmeric water, simply add a teaspoon of turmeric powder to a cup of warm water. Stir well and enjoy. You can add a squeeze of lemon or a pinch of black pepper for added flavor.
