Chamomile and mint tea
Ingredient:
1 cup water
1 chamomile tea bag or 1 teaspoon dried chamomile flowers
1/2 teaspoon dried mint leaves
1 teaspoon honey
1 slice ginger (optional, for extra warmth)
Making:
Boil 1 cup of water
Add chamomile leaves and mint to boiling water (or use chamomile tea bags)
Steep tea for about 5-7 minutes
Strain into cup to remove herbs or remove tea bag.
Stir in honey and add ginger slices if using, serve warm.
Honey and thyme tea
Ingredient:
1 cup water
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon honey 1 slice lemon
Making:
Boil 1 cup of water
Add dried basil leaves to the water.
Cover the jar and soak for 10 minutes.
Strain the tea into a cup to remove the basil leaves.
Add honey and a slice of lemon for extra flavor and soothing effect.
Turmeric and ginger tea
Ingredient:
1 cup water
1 piece of fresh ginger 1cm long (sliced or grated)
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder (or a small piece of fresh turmeric root)
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Making:
Boil 1 cup of water in a pot
Add sliced ginger and turmeric powder to boiling water
Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes
Strain the tea into a cup to remove the ginger and turmeric.
Stir in honey and lemon juice if desired and enjoy warm.
