How to use water to help reduce uric acid effectively

NGUYỄN LY |

High uric acid is a direct risk factor for gout and many other metabolic disorders.

In addition to complying with medical treatment and a scientific diet, many people choose voi water as a traditional drink to help support uric acid excretion and protect health.

According to Vietnamese traditional medicine, the leaves and buds of voi are cool in nature, slightly bitter in taste, helping to clear heat, support digestion and diuretic. From a modern scientific perspective, some studies show that voi water contains polyphenols and flavonoids. These are compounds with antioxidant properties, contributing to reducing inflammation and supporting kidney function - an organ that plays an important role in excreting uric acid out of the body.

American nutritionist Dr. Andrew Weil - lecturer at the University of Arizona (USA) - once emphasized that: "Plant-based drinks, rich in antioxidants and free of refined sugar can support controlling inflammation and metabolic disorders such as increased uric acid." This assessment is consistent with the correct use of broth, without adding sugar or sweeteners.

To make boi water effective, users should boil fresh or dry boi water in moderation, drink it during the day instead of filtered water, avoid leaving it overnight. The appropriate time to drink is 30-60 minutes after meals, helping to support digestion and reduce metabolic burden. You should only use about 1-1.5 liters per day, do not drink too much or too much for a long time.

Experts also recommend that boi water is not a treatment drug. People with high uric acid still need to control their diet, limit purine-rich foods such as organs, red meat, seafood, and drink enough water and maintain a reasonable weight. In particular, people with chronic kidney disease, pregnant women or those taking gout medication should consult a doctor before using it regularly.

Experts emphasize that using boi water properly can be a safe support solution, but it is only effective when placed in a healthy lifestyle and full medical monitoring.
