The Vietnam Television News Agency's News Agency on the evening of April 24, 2025 has posted information that the Investigation Police Agency - Ministry of Public Security is currently investigating and discovering the case of a number of fake and unsecured food products, including 2 health protection food products suspected to be counterfeit produced by Herbitech Technology Company Limited (address: Block 8, Phu Lo Commune, Soc Son District, Hanoi City), which are: NGON BABY SHARK Eating product and Medi Kid Calcium K2 product.
During the process of verification and handling by competent authorities, the Food Safety Department recommends that people should not use the above 2 products until the final conclusion of the Police Agency is available.
The Food Safety Department will continue to closely coordinate with the Police Agency to promptly inform the people.
According to VTV, Baby Shark - one of the health protection food products produced by Herbitech Technology Co., Ltd., with the announced function of supplementing micronutrients for children from birth who are weak, resistant, or foodie.
However, the investigation results showed that the appraisal agency had determined that this product was counterfeit.
On many products of Herbitech Company, the ingredients are announced to be imported from the US, France, and Germany, but when information about the cost of producing these products is made public, many consumers cannot help but panic.
To consume products with signs of being fake on the market, Herbitech Company used fake test results to produce, process and sell health protection food products.
The number of customers for which this company processes and produces products is about 200 products.
Test results are one of the important bases for demonstrating product quality, however, the police determined that many test documents of Herbitech Company had their target information edited.
