On February 27, the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Health held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025).
To date, in the locality, 100% of communes, wards and towns have health stations; 92.3% of health stations have doctors for service, 100% of health stations have computers connected to the network and apply health management software.
In recent years, the provincial health sector has focused on improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, developing technical expertise in examination and treatment in hospitals.

The province has been reorganizing the apparatus of health service units. From there, focus on training, supplementing human resources, building policies to attract high-quality human resources, especially qualified doctors.

Mr. Nay Phi La, Director of the Dak Lak Department of Health, commented that 2025 is an important milestone, marking a long journey of dedication for the Vietnamese health sector in general and Dak Lak in particular in the cause of people's health care.
Despite facing many difficulties, the team of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the health sector still completed their tasks well. Thereby, contributing to ensuring health care for people.
At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van acknowledged and praised the contributions of the health sector but also emphasized the challenges ahead.
These include an increase in complex diseases, infectious diseases and pressure to improve the quality of health services in limited resources.
He called on cadres and doctors to pay more attention to caring for the poor, ethnic minorities, people in remote areas; constantly learning and improving their expertise to successfully complete their tasks.
