In response to Bach Mai Hospital's proposals, attending and speaking at the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day on February 27 at Bach Mai Hospital (February 24), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested Bach Mai Hospital to urgently develop a project and project, to complete it by the second quarter of 2025 at the latest; in which, Bach Mai University of Medicine and Pharmacy will operate under an autonomous model, with the Government providing initial support.

When approved, Bach Mai University of Medicine and Pharmacy will be a place to train high-quality human resources, with the BV platform having a team of leading clinical experts participating in direct teaching; The BV has conditions to help students acquire practical clinical knowledge, as well as study opportunities with foreign experts and study in countries with developed medical backgrounds.
