On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, it was recorded that at some hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City, emergency cases due to traffic accidents decreased.

On February 3, Cho Ray Hospital said that during the Lunar New Year 2025 (from January 25 to February 2), there were 2,378 emergency patients, an average of 264 cases per day. The number of emergency patients during the Lunar New Year At Ty was lower than in 2024 (from February 8 to 14, 2024, there were 2,404 cases).

The hospital received 23 cases of poisoning and 82 cases of domestic accidents. There were 777 surgical patients.

The number of traffic accidents at hospitals during the 2025 Lunar New Year was 402 cases, down 13.6% compared to the same period in 2024. The number of inpatients, as of 7:00 a.m. this morning, February 3, was 1,260 cases.

Gia Dinh People's Hospital informed that on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, the number of emergency hospitalizations increased compared to 2024 (from February 8 to February 14, 2024), with 1,686 cases, mainly internal medicine and digestive diseases.

The number of emergency visits due to traffic accidents has decreased significantly. Of which, during the 9 days of the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025, there were 37 traffic accidents (in 2024, there were 84 cases). The hospital has not recorded any mass emergency or food poisoning cases.
