News from Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that free health check-ups will be implemented, striving to ensure that by the end of 2026, all people have access to this service.

According to the plan, Khanh Hoa province sets a target that by the end of 2026, 100% of people in the area will have periodic health check-ups or free screening at least once according to regulations.

In 2026, the province prioritizes organizing periodic health check-ups or free screenings at least once for subjects specified in point a, clause 2, Article 69 of Decree No. 165/2026/ND-CP.

In addition, health checks for the remaining groups of subjects will continue to be carried out through activities such as health checks at the beginning of the school year, periodic health checks, occupational health checks, health insurance medical examinations and treatments, and other forms of health checks as prescribed by law.

The plan aims to contribute to improving the quality of community health care, ensuring people have access to health check-up services, early detection of diseases and timely treatment measures.

When grasping the above policy, many people expressed their agreement with striving for 100% of people to have periodic health check-ups or free screening.

Many people, especially the elderly, freelancers or families in difficult circumstances, often have little opportunity to go for periodic health check-ups," shared Mr. Van Tien - a resident in Nam Nha Trang ward.

According to people, being examined for free not only helps people save costs but also detect diseases early for timely treatment, avoiding serious complications affecting health and life.

This is a practical policy, showing the government's concern for public health.
