According to the Khanh Hoa Department of Health, in October, the Department issued 3 documents to recall medicinal products, medicines, and cosmetics that did not ensure quality.
In particular, the Department of Health has requested businesses, medical examination and treatment facilities, and traditional medicine diagnostic rooms in the province to recall the Dafa medicinal herb traded by the Traditional Medicine diagnostic Department of Doctor Luong Manh Tuan (Cho village, Xuan Van commune, Tuyen Quang province) that does not meet quality standards.
According to the Department of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy Management (Ministry of Health), this batch of medicinal herbs has unknown origin, no batch number, place of production, expiration date and registration number, and does not meet level 1 quality standards.
Khanh Hoa Department of Health requires businesses, traders and users of medicinal herbs in the area to immediately stop trading, trading and using the above-mentioned batch of medicinal herbs.
At the same time, it is required that facilities must separate all remaining medicinal materials, make a list of purchased units or individuals (if any) to contact, recall and return to the supplier according to regulations.
In order to promptly prevent the circulation of substandard medicinal herbs in the area, in September 2025, Khanh Hoa Department of Health also requested units to immediately stop trading, trading, and using Bach Linh herbal herbal medicine produced from Son Lam Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Hanoi) for violating level 2 quality standards.
In August 2025, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Health issued Official Letter No. 1601/SYT-NVD to Dong Hoa Dan Loi Pharmaceutical Company Limited and business establishments, medical examination and treatment in the province regarding the treatment of Parasite Antibiotic drugs with batch No. 25041639, expiration date April 15, 2028, violating quality.
