During a regular health check-up, Hari Won was lucky to detect cervical cancer early and receive timely treatment, so she was healthy. She said that she had gone through days that seemed unpredictable when she received the doctor's notice, she "feeled the whole sky collapsing" and could not believe that this disease had come to her so soon.
Hari discovered she had cervical cancer at the end of 2012. At that time, Hari felt tired and lethargic, so she went to the doctor and discovered she had an illness. Fortunately, the doctor concluded that Hari was in the early stages, had undergone 2 surgeries and Hari's health has now recovered.
Thinking back, Hari found herself a healthy lifestyle and always focused on eating, so when the doctor concluded that she had cancer, she did not believe it. But the truth, Hari has come to realize that illness does not leave anyone behind.
Warning signs of cervical cancer
The uterus of women is covered by a thin layer of tissue - this layer of tissue is made up of cells. Cervical cancer is caused by cells in the cervix (the lower part of the uterus) starting to grow beyond the control of the body. These new cells grow rapidly and create tumors in the cervix.
To reduce the incidence of cancer, the best way is to get vaccinated with a preventive HPV vaccine. The vaccine is considered safe and can fight cancer, pre-cancer and genital warts. Doctors recommend that the safe age for vaccination to be most effective is from 9 to 26 years old.
One of the signs to recognize cervical cancer is:
Unusual vaginal bleeding: Women who have been menopausal for many years, suddenly have unreasonable vaginal bleeding, have low blood counts and are not accompanied by symptoms of abdominal pain and back pain.
High vaginal transportation: High white blood volume, changes in both nature, smell and color.
pelvic and back pain: As the disease becomes more severe, the pain will continue to spread to the legs and cause swelling in both legs.
Psoas rutmon: suddenly feeling pain around the pelvis or cramps even during days without menstruation.
Unusual in urination: the body leaks urine even when sneezing, moves vigorously, mixed blood in urine, pain when urinating...
