A lung cancer patient was about to have surgery when he suddenly discovered a giant brain blood vessel deformed mass that could rupture at any time during surgery.

The story started more than a month ago, Ms. D.N.N. (58 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) suffered from a prolonged cough and went to a large private hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for a health check. The results showed an unusual white spot on the lungs. The doctor advised her to have surgery immediately, then a Visitation to see if the tumor was healthy or malignant.

Worried about the vague medical prescriptions, Ms. N. and her husband felt uneasy, so they decided to go to FV Hospital to find another option.

Master - Doctor CKII Luong Ngoc Trung - Head of the Department ofemorological, Thoracic Surgery and Endovascular Intervention of FV Hospital examined and consulted Ms. N. The photo shows her lung with a blurred spot of more than 2 cm. According to the instructions of the Cancer Association, this lung lump is a damage that needs to be carefully monitored and treated appropriately.

Both the doctor and the patient agreed to choose the surgical needle deposition under CT instructions. Although they had prepared mentally, the vital results with the words lung cancer still made Ms. N. and her husband stunned.

However, when performing a brain MRI test for metastasis screening, she discovered a giant blood vessel deformed mass in her brain, which could rupture at any time, especially dangerous during anesthesia surgery.

On the morning of July 31, the surgery began. The FV team has prepared all backup scenarios. With only 3cm of the duct, Dr. Trung inserted endoscopic surgical tools into the patient's chest, removed the entire tumor, removed the cancer cells, did not metastasize the kidneys, and met R0 standards.

The surgery ended after 3 hours, the surgical team breathed a sigh: The foreign body block did not "cause the problem", everything went smoothly as planned. The pathologist later confirmed that lung cancer was stage 1A, with a very good prognosis, only requiring periodic monitoring, no additional treatment is needed. 7 days after the surgery, Ms. N was discharged from the hospital.
