Discovering a suspected case of using fake graduation certificates to advertise illegal beauty services

HCMC - Regarding the suspected use of fake graduation certificates to advertis for illegal beauty services, the Department of Medicine of Ho Chi Minh City urgently requested the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Ho Chi Minh City to support the verification.

On the morning of April 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that according to information reported by the press regarding the use of fake degrees from an account named Yuki posted on social media, the Department of Health Inspectorate coordinated with the District 3 Health Department and Ward 5 Police, District 3 to inspectriesriesriesriesriesriesriesries Premium HDC Company Limited (414 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ward 5, District 3), directed by Mr. T.M.N.

Through inspection and verification, it was shown that Ms. D.T.P.T is the Chairman of Iris Premium Company Limited at 414 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai. At this address, the Department of Health previously granted a license to operate a medical examination and treatment facility in the form of a dermatology clinic. Currently, this clinic is no longer operating because Iris Premium Company Limited has dissolved it.

When asked about the graduation certificate of the Nursing College under the name of Ms. D.T.P.T suspected to be a fake certificate, Ms. D.T.P.T said that she used 2 accounts under the name of D.P.T and Yuki, denying that the photo of the graduation certificate that she introduced herself on social media was fake. However, through searching information on the website of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, it was found that there was no name D.T.P.T.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health sent a document to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy requesting support in verifying the graduation certificate of Ms. D.T.P.T. When it is determined that this is exactly a fake certificate, the Department of Health will forward the information to the Ho Chi Minh City Police for coordination in investigating and handling according to the law.

Through the inspection, the Department of Health Inspectorate will strictly handle illegal advertising in the health sector against Iris Premium HDC Company Limited and Ms. D.T.P.T for violations in the health sector.

In addition, the Department of Health has suspended the licensing process for the examination and treatment of dermatology at this facility until the case is handled.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health recommends that people when discovering organizations and individuals showing signs of forging professional degrees or licenses to practice medical examination and treatment... look up information at the medical and pharmaceutical practice review portal of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health.

At the same time, people can report via hotline, hotline of the Department of Health or directly contact the Ho Chi Minh City Police to promptly grasp, prevent and strictly handle according to the provisions of law.
