Present at Yen Cuong Commune Health Station (Ninh Binh) on December 7, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the Station's facilities were invested in construction and spaciousness, and the reception and examination of patients for people were carried out in accordance with regulations.
Mr. Nguyen Van Trieu (residing in Trung Cuong hamlet, Yen Cuong commune) said: "Today, I came to see a doctor and get medicine to treat blood pressure periodically. All processes and procedures from registration to medical examination are very convenient. Hopefully, after the arrangement, the commune's health station will have innovations to improve the quality of care and protect the health of our local people" - Mr. Trieu shared.
Doctor Nguyen Tuan Duy, in charge of Yen Cuong Commune Health Station, said that Yen Cuong Commune Health Station was established on the basis of merging 4 Health Stations of 4 communes: Yen Cuong Health Station, Yen Nhan Health Station, Yen Loc Health Station, Yen Phuc Health Station.
The establishment of the new Yen Cuong Commune Health Station has received investment in facilities from local authorities, so it has spacious facilities according to the criteria of meeting new rural standards.
"Professional activities as well as equipment and machinery have been invested in and upgraded, so the operation of the Stations is basically to meet the initial medical examination needs of local people. In addition, the Station also cares about implementing preventive activities, ensuring food safety, population... Thereby, contributing to building a safe area, limiting the spread of diseases" - Dr. Duy said.

Mr. Tran Van Mong - Vice Chairman of Yen Cuong Commune People's Committee shared that this is a plan in line with the policy of arranging and streamlining public service units, reducing management units, and improving operational efficiency.
"This model allows to take advantage of existing facilities, equipment and medical staff, while ensuring convenience for people in accessing initial medical examination and treatment services that are both in line with the socio-economic development orientation of the locality" - Mr. Mong shared.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Pham Thi Phuong Hanh - Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Health said that after merging Ha Nam, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh provinces to establish the new Ninh Binh province from July 1, Ninh Binh province has 451 commune and ward-level health stations.
The provincial health sector has reorganized the grassroots health system in the direction of comprehensive innovation, completing the handover of 451 health stations to the People's Committees of communes and wards for management and guidance to localities to organize the reorganization of health stations according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health with 12 functions and 22 tasks related to disease prevention, medical examination and treatment, implementation of services on community health care, food safety, population, children, social protection... associated with the 2-level local government model, serving the needs of community health care.
"Up to now, the whole Ninh Binh province has completed the establishment of 129 Health Stations/129 communes and wards. The Department also effectively and substantially develops a plan to rotate, transfer, and transfer medical staff to the commune, including about 280 doctors working at health stations" - Ms. Hanh said.
According to Ms. Hanh, the Ninh Binh provincial health sector also focuses on transferring techniques and rotating cadres, enhancing cooperation in transferring specialized techniques from the upper level to the provincial and lower levels.
At the same time, closely coordinate, strengthen inspection, supervision, and guidance at the commune level in implementing health work tasks according to decentralization. Develop coordination regulations between the Department of Health and the People's Committees of communes and wards to operate and ensure the best professional operation of health stations.
