At the press conference providing information on socio-economic issues in Ho Chi Minh City on June 5, Ms. Pham Thi Xuan Hong - Deputy Head of the Department of Food Poison Control and Information and Communications, Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City said that the unit had sent a report related to the inspection, verification of production, business activities and advertising of weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan 98.

Previously, on May 22, Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan (Ngan 98) went to work at the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City. At the meeting, the Department Inspectorate noted Ms. Ngan's presentation about not being involved with Zubu Trading and Service Company Limited (Go Vap District).
Currently, the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City has received a directive document from the Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health) and is implementing the direction on coordinating information processing.
"The Department is coordinating with relevant units to review and inspect. The unit will inform the press as soon as the results are available" - Ms. Hong said.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on June 5, the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) said it had received a report from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety regarding the inspection and verification of production, trading and advertising activities of weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan 98, including: X100, weight loss pills X3 (Super Detox X3) and X7 Plus.
According to the report, initial verification shows that distributors such as Zubu Trading and Service Company Limited and Ngan 98 Trading and Service Company Limited have temporarily stopped operations, are no longer present at the registered address and cannot be contacted. Therefore, it is not possible to determine whether the above products are still on the market or not.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Food Safety Department sent a document to the Market Management Department and local food safety management agencies, requesting urgent inspection, review, sample collection and handling if violations were detected in accordance with regulations.
To protect consumers' health, the Food Safety Department recommends that people should not buy or use X100 products, X3 weight loss pills (Super Detox X3) and X7 Plus (produced at Nano Tesla High-Tech Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Dan Phuong Industrial Park, Hanoi) until there is an official conclusion from the authorities.
