Regarding the fight that occurred at Khanh Hoa General Hospital that Lao Dong Newspaper reported, the Department of Health Inspectorate worked with Ms. Dang Duy Thu Huyen (residing in Nha Trang City) - who claimed to do charity work and reported being assaulted in the hospital grounds.
Previously, in a petition sent to the Department of Health, Ms. Dang Duy Thu Huyen reflected 2 contents: being assaulted at the hospital and requested clarification on the operation of transporting patients by ambulance.
At the meeting yesterday (16.4) on the content reflecting Ms. Huyen's mother and son was beaten causing injury in the campus of Khanh Hoa General Hospital, Ms. Huynh Thi Quynh Anh - Inspector of the Department of Health said that this was not under the jurisdiction of the Department of Health but under the authority of the police.
Ms. Dang Duy Thu Huyen herself also agreed with these contents and said that she had submitted a petition to Loc Tho Ward Police on April 4 (waiting for the petition to be resolved).
The Inspectorate of the Department of Health also assessed that the content of Ms. Huyen's petition is a petition - reflection, under the authority of the Director of Khanh Hoa General Hospital.
The Department of Health will forward the content of this petition to the Director of the Hospital for inspection, settlement and response to Ms. Huyen according to regulations.
Also at the meeting with the Inspectorate of the Department of Health, Ms. Huyen admitted that she used an ambulance to support and transport patients. This transportation is for charitable purposes, not for business.
The Inspectorate of the Department of Health stated that although this is aimed at charity purposes, it must be implemented according to regulations.
Meanwhile, Ms. Huyen also admitted that the competent authority has not issued an operating license for the out-of-hospital emergency facility according to regulations.
She committed to stopping emergency care and patient transportation until ensuring operating conditions according to the provisions of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
