Thai Nguyen sets a goal to complete health check-ups for people before October 30th

Thai Nguyen - On June 9, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee organized an online conference to communes and wards to deploy the Peak Month of periodic health check-ups for people.

Information at the conference, as of the end of June 7, the whole province had 670,417 people who have had periodic health check-ups/screening health check-ups. 1,105,952 people have not had periodic health check-ups/screening health check-ups.

Some communes and wards have high examination rates such as: Van Xuan 85.94%; Song Cong 81.68%; Gia Sang 80.95%; Tich Luong 77.41%; Bang Van 83.80%; Phan Dinh Phung 76.88%….

Some localities have very low examination rates such as: Thuong Minh 2.15%; Duc Xuan 3.75%; Na Ri 4.96%; Dan Tien 5.49%; Nghia Ta 6.04%; Kim Phuong 6.25%; Phuong Tien 6.87%; Tan Khanh 6.96%; Binh Thanh 9.73%...

Some difficulties in implementing periodic health check-ups and screening in the province today include: the lack of unified guidance on data collection, difficulties in population statistics by occupation group; some health stations are still limited in terms of facilities...

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council Bui Van Luong acknowledged and praised the efforts of the health sector and localities in implementing the task of health check-ups for the people.

Mr. Bui Van Luong emphasized that in the coming time, Party committees and authorities need to unify awareness, clearly define responsibilities, and assign specific tasks to each unit and individual to ensure the completion of the set goals.

Localities review and classify subjects who have not been health checked to develop appropriate plans.

The Provincial Labor Federation directs the grassroots trade union system to coordinate with businesses in industrial parks to implement health check-ups for workers.

The Department of Finance, based on the proposal of the Health sector, advises on arranging resources according to regulations.

The Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations promote propaganda and mobilize people to participate in health check-ups, striving for the whole province to complete health check-ups for people before October 30th.
