Hanoi - The current bridge system over the Red River in Hanoi's inner city is currently suffering from traffic volume many times greater than its original design. Meanwhile, the plan to start construction of new bridges such as Tu Lien and Tran Hung Dao has not yet been clearly implemented.

Hanoi – The Department of Transport has just submitted to the Hanoi People's Committee a project to research and repair Long Bien Bridge.
