A notable piece of information was stated at the International Conference on biofuel in Vietnam in 2025 held yesterday, August 27: In the US, the use of ethanol in gasoline in 2024 reduced 54.3 million tons of greenhouse gases equivalent to CO2. This is equivalent to eliminating 12 million cars on the road in a year, annual emissions from 14 coal-fired power plants and 313,000 round-trip flights from Los Angeles to New York.
