During the Gala night celebrating the 4th anniversary of the Northwest Office, Lao Dong Newspaper launched the program "Warm Tet for Children" and donated 208 million VND to Yen Bai province.

On January 16 and 17, 2025, Lao Dong Newspaper coordinated with Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Yen Bai province to present 208 gifts worth 208 million VND (each gift worth 1 million VND in cash) to ethnic minority children in Lang Nhi commune, Tram Tau district and Che Tao commune, Mu Cang Chai district.

These are two disadvantaged communes in a poor district of Yen Bai province - heavily affected by the recent storm No. 3.

With the desire to take care of poor children and students in difficult circumstances to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025 with full love, previously, Lao Dong Newspaper launched the program "Warm Tet for Children" on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the establishment of the Northwestern Representative Office (January 1, 2021 - January 1, 2025).

Attending the 4th Anniversary Ceremony of the Northwestern Representative Office on December 22, 2024 were Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien - Editor-in-Chief of Lao Dong Newspaper, Director of the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund; Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Lao Dong Newspaper.

On the local side, there were Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen The Phuoc - Permanent Vice Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, branches and districts of provinces in the Northwest region.

The Northwestern Office was assigned by the Editorial Board of Lao Dong Newspaper to carry out tasks in 13 provinces in the Northwestern and Northern Midlands and Mountains regions, with Yen Bai being the first locality where Lao Dong Newspaper has a resident reporter and also the location of the Representative Office.

After 4 years of establishment, the Northwest Office - Lao Dong Newspaper has had many outstanding achievements, produced many quality press works, and received support and high appreciation from local authorities, colleagues, and readers.
