On September 3, Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Hoa - Principal of Huong Lien Kindergarten (Phuc Trach commune) - said that in the past few days, the school's teachers have focused on cleaning, decorating the schoolyard, and practicing art for the children to prepare for the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025 - 2026.
According to Ms. Hoa, after a year of completion and putting into use, the 2-storey, 4-room school building sponsored by the Golden Heart Social and Cultural Fund is still spacious, sturdy, and has good functions for teaching and learning.

Thanks to this new school building, last year, teachers and students had spacious classrooms, with conditions to improve the quality of teaching and learning," Ms. Hoa shared.
The principal of Huong Lien Kindergarten also believes that with the guaranteed school, classrooms, facilities, and the new school year 2025 - 2026 and the following years, the school will continue to achieve many high achievements in teaching.
Previously, the row of level 4 schools at Huong Lien Kindergarten was dilapidated, degraded, and leaking, making it unsafe for teaching and learning.
From the proposal of the school, the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor and the People's Committee of Huong Khe district, in 2023, the Golden Heart Social and Cultural Fund sponsored 2.8 billion VND, along with the counterpart capital of 1.2 billion VND from the People's Committee of Huong Khe district, a 2-storey, 4-room school building was built for Huong Lien Kindergarten to replace the old classroom block.
The project started in November 2023, completed and put into use from the new school year 2024 - 2025.
Mr. Phan Quoc Thanh - Vice Chairman of Phuc Trach Commune People's Committee - said that Huong lien Kindergarten (old Huong Lien Commune, now Phuc Trach Commune) is located in a mountainous area with many difficulties. Fortunately, with the attention and sponsorship of the Golden Heart Social and Cultural Fund, a 2-storey, 4-room school building was built to ensure spaciousness and quality.
From there, the school is guaranteed facilities and materials to organize teaching well, improving the quality of education in disadvantaged areas.
In addition to supporting the construction of schools, the Golden Heart Social and Cultural Fund also supported 2.2 billion VND and counterpart funds of 600 million VND from the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor to build Huong Lien Boarding House to help many teachers far from home have a place to live and work with peace of mind.
Mr. Thanh added that at Huong Lien Kindergarten and Huong Lien Primary School, there are currently about 40 children of the Chut ethnic group in Rao Tre village.
The children's families are in difficult circumstances, parents do not pay much attention to their children's education, many children have to take meals and vacations, making it difficult for teachers to go to the house to exercise, and go to school together.
To mobilize children to go to school regularly, the locality will coordinate with the school to organize free breakfast meals for nearly 40 children of the Chu ethnic group to encourage them to go to school.
However, funding is still difficult, so the locality hopes to receive support from units, businesses, and philanthropists to maintain this meaningful activity for a long time.
