After the second round of the 2025 Australian Open, Novak Djokovic officially broke Roger Federer's record (429) for the most Grand Slam matches in history (430). The Serbian star is also the first male tennis player over 30 years old to achieve 150 Grand Slam victories.
Only three men have played more than 300 matches at major tournaments: Djokovic, Federer and Rafael Nadal (358).
Of the top 10 players on the list, Djokovic also has the highest winning percentage. The 24-time Grand Slam champion has won more than 88 percent of his matches (379 wins, 51 losses). Nadal (87.7 percent) and Federer (86 percent) are close behind.
Djokovic will have a chance to surpass the other players on this list. The women's record holder is Serena Williams, with 423 Grand Slam matches. Her winning percentage is 86.8%.
Now, the 37-year-old star continues to pursue his 100th championship title and 25th Grand Slam title, entering the third round of the Australian Open.
