Powerful French fighter jets attack to destroy Syrian chemical weapons facilities

    The official Elysse network has released a video of French fighter jets taking off to participate in the Syrian attack on April 14.

    The French presidential office has announced on Twitter about the Rafale fighter jets taking off. The plane took off to carry out a mission to attack Syrian government chemical weapons facilities, Reuters reported.

    It is not yet clear whether French fighter jets will take off from an aircraft carrier or a military base on land.

    Elysee did not specify where the plane took off and did not provide further details.

    The video was posted shortly after President Emmanuel Macron launched an order with the US and UK to attack Syria.
