The White House has broken the tradition by posting information on its official website as the "Biden-Harris administration" rather than just the "Biden administration".
The move, according to Fox News, is one of a few aimed at elevating Vice President Kamala Harris's position in the Joe Biden administration.
Both Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris are listed on the official Twitter of the White House, with biographical information: "Welcome to the White House Biden-Harris".
This move is also unprecedented.
Neither of the previous administrations of Mr. Biden listed the president and vice president on their websites or official social media channels.
President Joe Biden attracted attention when he called the Vice President " prides in Harris" in an update on the US vaccination process earlier this month.
Last December, Mr. Biden also mistakenly called Ms. Harris " president-elect" in a speech on the COVID-19 vaccine.
Harris also mistakenly called herself president last September.
