Here is the journey from flight attendant to Miss Suthida's Queen and from nurse to the deposed Imperial Court of Miss Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi.
Queen Suthida, born in 1978, is a former flight attendant at Thai Airways. In 2013, she joined the Thai Royal Army and a year later was appointed deputy commander of the King's Guards. King Vajiralongkorn commanded the force.
Suthida has long been rumored to be in a relationship with King Vajirusongkorn, but their relationship was not made public until early this year.
On 1 May 2019, King Vajiralongkorn (66 years old) held a wedding ceremony with General Suthida Vajirusongkorn at Dusit Palace in Bangkok and crowned her Queen Suthida, just 3 days before the King's coronation.
The announcement on the Royal announcement said that the King was legally married to the Queen. Queen Suthida was the fourth wife of King Vajiralongkorn.
According to AFP, King Vajiralongkorn spent most of his time with Queen Suthida in Thailand and Germany - where the King owned a $12 million villa on Starnberg Lake in Munich.
Sineenat (34) is the first woman in nearly a century to be crowned noble King. She was deposed by the King less than 3 months before her 67th birthday on July 28. The coronation ceremony also took place just 2 months after the King married Queen Suthida.
Sineenat is a qualified pilot, trained in the Thai Air Force in 2018.
Before that, she graduated from the Royal Thai Army Nursing School at the age of 23. After working as a nurse from 2008 to 2012, she joined the Royal Office as an employee in the royal handicraft shop.
Sineenat has undergone a number of military training programs including deforestation warfare, endurance courses, royal guards training and parachuting.
She served in the royal guards and was promoted to the rank of major general in May.
Like most Thais who have nicknames, Sineenat is known by the nickname "Koi", which means little finger.
After being conferred the title of noble King, she led the King's volunteer team program, helping to clean up public spaces and government events.
A photo series released in September shows the royal court clearing a canal in Pathumthani province and greeting local people in Bangkok.
According to Khaosod, just last week, the Most Venerable was appointed by the King as the chief advisor for the winter festival scheduled to be held in Bangkok later this year.
On October 21, King Maha Vajirusongkorn deposed Venerable Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi for being unfair and resisting the ban on Mrs. Suthida. Sineenat was simultaneously stripped of all titles and military ranks for serious disregard for her commander-in-chief.
