Fighting broke out at the Thailand - Cambodia border

    The Thai military said it had conducted airstrikes in the border area with Cambodia.

    On December 8, Thai military spokesman Major General Winthai Suvaree announced that Thailand had conducted airstrikes along the border with Cambodia.

    The airstrike broke out at the border after both Thailand and Cambodia accused each other of violating a ceasefire agreement.

    The Thailand - Cambodia border dispute broke out into a 5-day war in July this year.

    The two sides reached a ceasefire mediated by US President Donald Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

    President Donald Trump witnessed the signing of an expanded ceasefire agreement between the two countries in Kuala Lumpur in October.
