    Google emphasized that Google Doodle wished a Lunar New Year 2024 focusing on the mascot of the year, the dragon, symbolizing strength, health and luck.

    Introducing Google Doodle to celebrate Lunar New Year, Google said that the Lunar New Year tradition originated thousands of years ago.

    Every year, a mythical Monster will appear, causing suffering to humans on earth. The families covered their doors with red paper, lit lanterns overnight and set off fireworks to ward off monsters.

    Today, red lanterns are hung in residential areas during the Lunar New Year. During the Lunar New Year, giving lucky money in red envelopes to the youngest and oldest people in the family and community is also very popular.

    Google Doodle wishes the 2024 Lunar New Year to have reach for global Google users, including Vietnam.
