A fire broke out at a new Chinese energy company in Long Nam city, Fujian province on July 12.
CGTN quoted information from local authorities as saying that at least 2 people were missing and 2 people were injured in the accident.
A witness said the fire broke out during maintenance. An investigation into the cause of the incident is still ongoing.
Local firefighters have been dispatched to the scene and search and rescue activities are ongoing.
Most recently, a Chinese fireworks factory in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, was destroyed into a pile of scrap bricks after a major explosion on the night of July 9.
