Currently, a strong cold air mass is affecting from the west to the east over a wide area. Due to the influence of cold air, many places in northern and northwestern China will have temperatures dropped to 8-10 degrees Celsius, with some points dropping above 12 degrees Celsius. Strong winds of level 8-10, some places above level 11, accompanied by dust and light sandstorms.
From November 24 to November 25, the cold air mass will continue to move down to central and eastern China, causing temperatures to drop by 4 to 8 degrees Celsius. Some northern areas of China will drop 10-12 degrees Celsius. The northern part of the Yangtze River will see north winds of level 5-7, gusting to level 8-9. The northern part of northern China will see moderate to light snowfall while in southwestern China, there will be heavy snowfall.
It is forecasted that from now until November 27, a stronger cold air mass will continue to flow from north to south, causing the temperature to drop by 4-8 degrees Celsius, with some points dropping by 10-12 degrees Celsius. The north wind will be level 5-7, gusting to level 8-9. The northwest, northern and northeastern regions of China are expected to see light to moderate snow, with some places likely to see heavy snow or snowstorms.
The third cold air mass is expected to affect the northern part of the Yangtze River from November 29 to 30. Temperature here is forecast to drop to 4-6 degrees Celsius, with some places dropping to 8-10 degrees Celsius. The north wind is level 4-6 in northern and northeastern China. On November 29, northeastern Inner Mongolia and northeastern China are likely to see heavy snow to snowstorms.
