The delegation later attended the wreath-laying ceremony at the World War II Memorial to commemorate the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in protecting Russia's northernmost region.
Commander of the Northern fleet - Vice Admiral Konstantin Kabantsov said that the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Russian Navy Command wish to cooperate internationally in military affairs with many friendly countries.
"Such activities will help strengthen cooperation and strategic partnership between countries, contributing to increasing global stability and security," he said.
At the main naval base of the Northern fleet, military personnel visited the Admiral Kasatonov mine ship equipped with many types of precision missiles.
During the tour, military personnel also visited the Oryol nuclear-powered Submarine along with many other naval vessels and support vessels.
The North fleet's statement said that foreign military personnel expressed special interest in the Yasen-M Krasnoyarsk nuclear-powered Submarine. The precision-weap vehicle was added to the Russian Navy's payroll at the end of last year.
