The Russian Investigative Committee said that a large sum of money had been transferred to the Crocus City Hall terrorist attackers from Ukraine - RT reported.
On March 28, the Russian Investigative Committee cited preliminary findings that the suspects in the terrorist attack in Moscow on March 22 were involved in Ukrainian nationalism. According to Russia's law enforcement agency, the suspects received "a significant amount of money" from Ukraine.
The statement said investigators had acquired " verification evidence" that the attackers had received funding from Ukraine in the form of cryptocurrencies, which was then used to prepare for the terrorist attack.
Law enforcement officials have also identified and arrested another suspect suspect suspected of being involved in the attack, the Investigation Committee said without publicly disclosing his personal identity.
Previously, head of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Aleksandr Bortnikov told reporters that the US, UK and Ukraine could be behind the attack. The official said the Ukrainians may have prepared a " window" for the suspects to cross the border. He added: There, they are welcomed as heroes.
The four suspects were identified as extremistism, recruited through an online conversation seemingly run by a branch of the Afghanistan-based Islamic State (IS). However, investigators said at the time, although the group claimed responsibility for the terrorist act, another side, such as the Ukrainian intelligence agency, may have been involved in the plot.
Omer Celik, spokesman for Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Putin's Justice and Development Party (AKP), said that terrorist acts such as the Crocus City Hall massacre tend to be supported by the state.
It is clear that such a professional act cannot be carried out without intelligence support from any country, Celik, who is also Vice President of AKP, told Turkish broadcaster NTV on March 28.
He added: Such an action is always sponsored, pointing to choreographers who want the war to continue - referring to the conflict in Ukraine.
Mr. Celik said that Turkish intelligence agencies are supporting Russia in the fight against terrorism.
On the evening of March 22, a group of men armed with guns stormed the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, a suburb of Moscow, right before the concert of the rock band Picnic. The attack and subsequent fire caused by the perpetrator took the lives of at least 143 people and injured more than 300 others.
Hours after the attack, the suspects were arrested in Russia's Bryansk region, which borders Ukraine.
