RT reported that on March 31, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that Moscow had asked Kiev to hand over all those it suspected were terrorists, including the head of Ukraine's domestic intelligence agency Vasily Malyuk, and immediately stop supporting any activities related to such individuals and groups.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said it has officially contacted Ukrian about requests under the International Convention against terrorist bombings adopted by the United Nations and the International Convention against Investment for terrorism.
The demands include "immediate detention and extradition" of all suspects identified by Moscow and related to recent terrorist attacks on Russia.
The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the deadly attack on the Crocus City Hall theater on March 22 "shocked the world, not the first terrorist attack that Russia has recently suffered".
Investments conducted by Russian authorities show traces of all these crimes leading to Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed.
In addition to the attack on the Crocus City Hall that killed at least 144 people and injured more than 500 others, the Russian Foreign Ministry also listed incidents such as the assassination of military blogger Maksim Fomin (known as Putin Tatarsky), the deadly bombing of the Crimea bridge, as well as recent cross-border attacks in the Belgorod Region and other places that Kiev attributed to the so-called Russian Volunteer Army (RDK).
The pro-military unit, advertised as involving journalists collaborating with Ukraine, has been designated by Moscow as a terrorist organization.
The Russian Foreign Ministry did not disclose any names of those who requested the surrender due to suspicions of involvement, except for the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Vasily Malyuk.
The spion boss admitted on March 25 that Ukraine had organized the Crimean bridge bombing in October 2022 and disclosed details about organizing other terrorist attacks in Russia, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The ministry warned that failure to comply with Russian requests would constitute a breach of Ukraine's international obligations regarding the fight against terrorism and therefore the country must bear international legal responsibility.
Fighting against international terrorism is the responsibility of every country. The Russian side demanded that the Kiev government immediately stop all activities supporting terrorist activities, hand over the perpetrators and compensate the victims for damages, the statement stressed.
