Most importantly, I would like to express my condolences to the family of the person who died during the election campaign and the family of another person who was seriously injured. It is unbelievable that such an act could happen in our country. There is currently no information about the shooter, he is now deceased. A bullet was fired through my right ear. CNN reported that Secret Service agents rushed to take former President Donald Trump off stage after he fell to the ground amid loud explosions at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on the evening of July 13.
After the explosion, Mr. Trump fell to the ground and was sheltered by Secret Service agents. He was helped up by security guards and had blood on his face.
Former President Trump was then taken to a car and evacuated from the scene. The incident occurred right after he went on stage to start the election campaign.
CNN quoted a source from the Secret Service as saying that the shooter was killed by Secret Service staff. An attendee was also killed in the incident. The shooting is being investigated as a murder plot.
US President Joe Biden condemned the shooting and said: "There is no place for this type of violence in the US."
It is a disease, that is one of the reasons why we must unite this country. We cannot allow this to happen. We can't do this, we can't forgive that," President Joe Biden said from Delaware.
President Joe Biden stressed that everyones got to condemn the shooting.
