I will bring optimism, opportunity and hope, and that is what we are doing, and this is why we have this spirit. This is something that is happening all over our country," The Hill quoted President Donald Trump as cheering on a crowd at a rally event in Macon, Georgia, on October 16.
President Trump added: "I shouldn't be joking because, you know, running against the worst candidate in presidential politics puts pressure on me. Can you imagine if I lost? What will I do with my whole life? I would say, "I lost to the worst candidate in political history."
Sharing that he would not be happy if that scenario happened, Mr. Donald Trump added: "Maybe I will have to leave the country? I don't know anymore".
According to The Hill, President Trump also shared with supporters at the North Carolina rally last month: "If I lost to him, I don't know what I would do. I will never talk to you again". The Joe Biden campaign posted a video of President Trump's statement on social media.
In the 2016 US election, Mr. Donald Trump also joked that if he lost the Republican presidential race, he would not appear in public.
"I didn't think I would lose, but if I did, I didn't think you would meet me again. I think I would go to turnberry and play golf or something," Donald Trump said at the time.
