Last month, Korean Prime Minister Arturs Krisjanis Karins shared in an interview with El Pais that the country would not continue to import Russian gas despite all difficulties. He stressed that 90% of Latvia's gas imports come from Russia.
Meanwhile, gas tariffs in Latvia have skyrocketed. Depending on consumption, gas bills for households have increased in the range of 65.6% to 89.9% since the beginning of July.
