Second place is Papua New Guinea, a country located in the Pacific Ocean with a crime rate of 80.04% and a security rate of 19.96%.

Syria is 10th in the ranking of dangerous countries - with the highest crime rate. According to Numbio, the crime rate in Syria is 67.42% and the security rate is 32.58%.

Previously, in 2019, the world's largest security, healthcare and travel risk assessment service company International SOS released a 2020 travel risk map, published in Forbes magazine.

Syria is considered one of the world's most risky and dangerous tourist destinations on the 2020 tourism risk map.
