Thailand: 15 luxury cars caught fire in Bangkok

The fire broke out at a garage in Bangkok containing 15 luxury cars, with estimated damage of about 40 million baht (about 9.5 billion VND).

According to Bangkok Post, the fire broke out at the SY Auto Technic garage in Saphan Sung District, Bangkok, Thailand, at 11:40 p.m. on September 10.

After being informed, firefighters arrived at the scene and took 30 minutes to control the fire, as they had to wait for the garage owner to open the door to enter the scene.

No one was injured in the fire, however, the estimated damage was about 15 cars including Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and Toyota Alphard, worth about 40 million baht (about 9.5 billion VND).

The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
